Vietnamese Black tea OP

Black tea OP offered by P&H is the fine grade of tea, made of slightly wiry and slightly twisted leaves and buds, sometimes containing some white tips. It is usually a tea made with the top 2 leaves and one bud from a tea branch.
Full name: Black tea Orange Pekoe

FGC offered three main Black tea OP varieties classified by its size:

Vietnamese Black tea BOP

Black tea BOP consists of neat small broken leaves without any other particles. It usually consists of a few silvery tips. This tea has a very strong taste in comparison with other grades.
Full name: Broken Orange Pekoe

Vietnamese Black tea FBOP

Vietnamese Black tea FBOP is just a smaller grade after BOP grade. This tea has short, slightly wiry, less twisted broken leaves and consists of a few tips.
Full name: Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe

Vietnamese Black tea Pekoe

This tea grade is one of the most popular grades we offer and is the most expensive grade. Vietnamese black tea pekoe is made of young tender tea leaves, and buds. Leaves of this grade are shorter, curly, and not much wiry. The tea has a curly round appearance, strong taste, and aroma.

Vietnamese Black tea PS

Vietnamese black tea PS is a flaky leaf grade with a neat appearance. The tea consists of leaves that are slightly curly but fully open.
Full name: Pekoe Souchong

Vietnamese Black tea BPS

Vietnamese black tea BPS is a smaller grade just after PS.
Full name: Broken Pekoe Souchong

Vietnamese Black tea Fannings

Vietnamese black tea Fannings are finely broken pieces of tea leaf that still have a coarse texture. This tea is often used in producing filter tea bags. They are the smallest pieces of tea that are left over after sieving other bigger leaf grades.

Vietnamese Black tea Dust

Vietnamese black tea Dust is fine powder tea, much finer than fanning grades. It is tea leftover from producing other higher tea grades.
This tea type is also used in producing filter tea bags.

Vietnamese Black tea OPA

OPA is the large leaf Vietnamese black tea. It’s long, bold leaf tea with slightly twisted tea leaves.
Full name: Orange Pekoe –A

This grade takes a little bit more time to brew compared to other tea grades but has a unique taste compared to other smaller grades.
